Building the Amazon Bioeconomy
Tropical Food Products.
Carbon Removal.
Renewable Energy.
Amazterra is developing an integrated platform for tropical fruit processing, biochar production, carbon removal and renewable energy in one of Brazil's most important açaí-producing regions.
By creating value where products are grown, Amazterra strengthens rural economies while supporting forest conservation and climate resilience.

Amazterra connects sustainable Amazon agriculture with forest conservation, local value creation and climate action.
In the Codajás–Anori region of Amazonas, we are developing an integrated bioeconomy platform that combines açaí processing, smallholder farmer integration, renewable energy and biochar-based carbon removal.
Our goal is simple:
create more value where tropical forest products are grown — while strengthening rural livelihoods and making standing forests economically competitive.

Forest-Based Livelihoods
Strengthening income opportunities for local farming families without additional deforestation.

Local Value Creation
Processing tropical fruits closer to their origin instead of exporting raw value out of the region.

Climate & Energy Integration
Combining renewable energy, biochar and carbon removal to support a more resilient Amazon bioeconomy.
A Region Rich in Resources, Limited in Infrastructure
The Codajás–Anori region produces more than 20,000 tonnes of açaí annually and supports thousands of farming families. However, limited local processing capacity means much of the economic value generated by the region's agricultural production leaves Amazonas.
Amazterra is building an integrated platform for tropical fruit processing, biochar production and renewable energy to capture more value where products are grown.
This approach strengthens local supply chains, creates new revenue streams and helps make standing forests economically competitive.

The Amazterra Platform
Amazterra combines tropical fruit processing, biochar production, carbon removal and renewable energy into a single integrated platform.
Each activity strengthens the others, creating multiple revenue streams while improving economic opportunities for local communities.
Tropical Fruit Processing
5,000 kg/hour processing capacity.
Açaí, cupuaçu, cacao and future fruit products.
Biochar & Carbon Removal
Agricultural residues and sustainable pruning biomass converted into high-integrity biochar.
Traceable feedstock, long-term carbon storage, soil improvement and high-integrity carbon removal credits.
Renewable Energy
Solar and biomass-based energy solutions for rural communities and industrial operations.
Regenerative Agriculture
Syntropic farming systems designed to increase productivity while restoring degraded land.
Traceable Feedstock for High-Integrity Carbon Removal
Amazterra is developing biochar-based carbon removal from a traceable Amazon biomass base that combines:
✓ Own syntropic farming systems
✓ Integrated smallholder farmer networks
✓ Agricultural residues from tropical fruit processing
✓ Sustainable pruning biomass
This creates a carbon removal pathway designed around feedstock transparency, long-term carbon storage and positive outcomes for farmers, forests and local communities.

BUILT, NOT JUST PLANNED
USD 1.5 Million Already Invested
Amazterra has already invested approximately USD 1.5 million into project development and implementation.
Investment areas include:
✓ Processing equipment
✓ Factory infrastructure
✓ Technical development
✓ Knowledge transfer
✓ Farmer integration
✓ Afforestation initiatives
✓ Regional project preparation
The investment has established the foundation for food processing, biochar production and future carbon removal activities in the Codajás–Anori region.
Current Development Stage
The processing facility has been constructed and technical equipment is being delivered.
Commissioning and operational scale-up are underway.
Biochar and carbon removal activities are being developed as the next phase of the integrated platform.
An Integrated Tropical Food, Carbon and Energy Business
1Tropical Fruits
The Codajás–Anori region produces more than 20,000 tonnes of açaí annually alongside other valuable forest products.
2Local Processing
Amazterra processes products closer to production, retaining more value within the region.
3Food Products
Frozen pulp and future value-added products create the primary revenue stream.
4Biomass Recovery
Fruit residues and pruning biomass become resources rather than waste.
5Biochar Production
Biomass is converted into biochar, creating an additional revenue stream.
6Carbon Removal
Biochar enables long-term carbon storage and premium carbon credit generation.
7Regenerative Agriculture
Biochar and syntropic farming improve productivity and soil health.
8Stronger Rural Economies & Forest Protection
Higher productivity and local value creation increase the economic value of standing forests.
Why Amazterra Creates Value

Local Processing Creates More Value
Açaí and other forest products are often transported long distances before processing.
By processing closer to production, Amazterra helps retain more value within the region while strengthening local supply chains and creating skilled employment.

Standing Forests Are Productive Assets
Açaí, cupuaçu, cacao and other forest products generate recurring economic value without requiring additional land clearing.
Integrating these products into local processing and regenerative agriculture systems strengthens both productivity and long-term resource stewardship.

Multiple Revenue Streams Strengthen Resilience
Food production, biochar, carbon removal and renewable energy each contribute to the Amazterra platform.
Together they reduce dependence on any single market while supporting long-term regional development.
Competitive Advantages
Existing Production Base
20,000+ tonnes of annual açaí production and more than 3,000 farming families in the region.
Existing Investment
USD 1.5 million already invested into infrastructure, equipment and regional development.
Circular Business Model
Food, biochar, carbon removal and energy reinforce one another.
Embedded Impact Advantage
Forest protection, rural development and carbon removal are integrated into the business model, creating environmental and social outcomes alongside commercial value creation.
Sustainable Feedstock Advantage
Protecting Forests & Restoring Landscapes
Amazterra’s carbon removal model is anchored in a real agricultural ecosystem: own syntropic farming on 100 hectares, açaí processing residues and smallholder farmer integration.
This reduces one of the biggest risks in biochar-based carbon removal: uncertain, untraceable or unsustainable biomass sourcing.
Feedstock traceability and sustainability are among the most important risk factors in biochar carbon removal. Amazterra addresses this through integration with its own farming activities, regional processing operations and local farmer networks.
